Who we are
POS Wizard is a service from Web Wizard that connects a merchant's WooCommerce store to a browser-based point of sale. This policy explains how we handle personal data when you visit poswizard.app or use POS Wizard.
Information we collect
- Account information: your name, email address and profile image when you sign in with Google, or your email address when you use a magic link.
- Store information: the WooCommerce store you connect, its catalog, inventory, customers, orders and the credentials needed to keep that connection working.
- Shipping and payment information: the labels you buy, the addresses on them, and identifiers for the card you save. Square processes card details; POS Wizard never receives or stores a complete card number.
- Device and usage information: basic technical details, service logs and push-notification preferences used to operate, secure and improve the service.
How we use information
We use personal data to:
- authenticate users and maintain account sessions;
- provide the point of sale and synchronize WooCommerce data;
- sell and issue shipping labels you buy;
- handle support requests and service messages;
- protect POS Wizard, prevent abuse and diagnose problems; and
- meet legal obligations and enforce our terms.
Information received from Google is used only to sign you in, identify your account and display your account profile. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
When we share information
We share information with service providers that help us run POS Wizard, including Convex for application hosting and data storage, Square for payments, Shippo for carrier shipping labels, Resend for email and OneSignal for optional push notifications. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transfer. We do not sell personal data.
Storage, security and retention
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect personal data. No online service can guarantee absolute security. We retain information while an account is active and as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary by data type and purpose.
Your choices and rights
You can decline optional push notifications in your device or account settings. You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, or disconnect your Google account, subject to legal and operational retention requirements. You can also revoke POS Wizard’s Google access from your Google Account permissions page.
